Summer Academy Elementary Camp

Join City Lax for a 2-week day-camp designed for elementary school participants. The camp will focus on a blend of lacrosse play/training, outdoor adventure experiences, and education programs.
Some of the non-sport and lacrosse activities we are planning may include: reading comprehension, writing, financial literacy and math, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, community volunteerism, and additional field trips.
Camp programs will be designed to be fun, engaging, and impactful.

- Rising 3rd-6th girls and boys
- Must be current City Lax participant
- Limited space available: 20 girls and 20 boys
When
- July 7-18 (2 weeks)
- Monday - Friday each week
- 8:30 AM drop-off to 4:00 PM pick-up
Where
The City Lax Office will be the central location for drop-off and pick-up each day.
cost - $0
There's no cost to participate; however, any cancellation after June 15, or participants that start but do not finish the three-week program, will be charged a $250 fee
application process and criteria
- All participants must apply before being accepted
- There’s limited space, so participants will be selected on the following criteria:
- Participation and preparedness. Are you typically present and ready?
- Effort, enthusiasm, worth-ethic. Are you working hard?
- Sportsmanship, respect. Are you fun to be around and work well with others?
- Financial need.
- Participants who demonstrate financial need will be given priority.
- There's no cost to attend Summer Academy; however, if fees were charged, the estimated camp value would be $1,000+ per participant
